Hello! And welcome to my little corner of the internet where I show my work. I am truly honored to get to capture folks in front of my lens... whether its a wedding or a quiet hour in a field somewhere with a soft summer breeze... I don't take my job lightly. It is a gift to be able to capture someone as they are and where they're at. I truly love it. It feels important to me, that you really *see* yourself when you get my images back. I think you're more beautiful and wild than you probably even realize. You deserve to be captured and remembered. I think photographs are treasures we should collect more of in this digital life we now live in. Print your photos. Hang them up. Put them in your back pocket, your car, your wallet. Take them out, wrinkle them, talk about them, love them. Let them get coffee stains and dog hair and creases. A photo is a piece of you, a time capsule, a magic reminder of a beautiful moment, caught forever.

I've been known to cry at my clients weddings. I also consider my clients friends- so I think it's perfectly acceptable to get a little watery-eyed when listening to handwritten vows. I think love is magic on earth.

I spend most my time out of service. In the winters I'm a ski guide in the North Cascades and in my free time I'm usually romping around somewhere rocky and steep. It's where I do my best thinking, relaxing and connecting. I am deeply inspired by our wild world. I love fantasy books. I love poetry and and loud music. I love wrinkled hands and sun spots and I tend to forget to brush my hair.
